Hi, I’m Merry Robertson and I am a Professional Speaker and Marketing Consultant.

I started my career as Graphic Designer after gaining my Diploma in Graphic Design at the age of 17. I was approached by a respected advertising studio to work for them before I qualified, so decided to do both – finish my Diploma and begin my working career – a very busy time! I worked with some of Perth’s most respected illustrators, so my love and knowledge of all things visual got off to a great start.

I migrated into the health, sport and recreation industry where I became a qualified fitness professional and added promotions, business management and events management to my experiences. This included spending some years working in regional WA where I gained an intimate knowledge of all the marketing issues and culture of our ‘country cousins’. I gained my two children too! This country life was a wonderful and very insightful experience, and I welcome all opportunities to continue to work with regional centres.

I have lived in Perth for over 20 years and during this time gained further qualifications in Cert IV Strategic Marketing, Dip Presentation Skills,  Cert IV Business Sales, Cert IV Frontline Management and the Cert IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor. All this experience enabled me to become a part-time lecturer on the Diplomas in Business Marketing, Sales, Public Relationsand Event Management for over 12 years. 

I have indulged my love of training while operating my marketing consultancy – Jump Marketing – as a full time business for 17 years.  I have enjoyed the privilege of training staff and managers from Dulux, Australian Geographic, Thai Airways and Halifax Vogel, Ford and Doonan, Advocare and many others.

In 2016 I will return to the country and start another phase of a very interesting life in Albany WA. I will continue to work with current and new clients and deliver both Marketing Services, Training, and Professional Development services. I will also return to my other love as an artist!So in a condensed version, my personal experience includes:

I was also the past President of the Professional Speakers Association WA branch
